BEYONG ORIGINAL MEDICARE MAY INCLUDE:
Prescription drug coverage (MAPD plans)-Limited dental coverage
A quarterly allowance to order over-the-counter medications and products from a catalog. There are shipped to your home at no cost.
Vision benefits including annual eye exams and allowances for glasses or contact lenses
Transportation to and from medically necessary appointments
A basic gym membership (not all gyms participate)
Virtual Medical Visits
Hearing Aid allowances
24 hour Nurse Line
Home meal delivery service post-surgery for up to 14 days
Most plans are offered at $0 MONTHLY PREMIUM and a maximum out of pocket limitfor the calendar year.
Original Medicare Part A and Part B, do not cover all the costs of hospitalization and doctor visits or outpatient care. It also does not cover prescription drugs or Part D.

Medicare Advantage Plans are available for eligible Medicare beneficiaries in a specific county. Where you live determined which plans you may qualify for.

Medicare Advantage Plans are both PPO and HMO plans.

Medicare Advantage Plans include coverage for hospitalization, doctor visits and with MAPD plans, prescription drugs and other additional benefits not offered by Original Medicare.

Medicare Advantage Plans are known as MA or MAPD plans.

Medicare Advantage Plans are called MA plans (no drug coverage) and MAPD plans are Medicare Advantage Plans that include Drugs (D).
